1961 Cherryland (Nippo/Atlas)

Nippo was the first japanese company to manufacture typewriters, releasing this model in 1961, we’ll ahead of Brother. The Cherryland is very uncommon, though under the hood it features a design almost identical to the Royal Royalite. With a crinkle finish, gull wing ribbon covers, gorgeous curves and late 50s styling with green keys, this machine is unique as it is beautiful.
