This Oliver #5 (not at my home not sure of year I believe 1912-16)..was bought up in New hampshire..but luckily the seller dropped it off at his daughter's in Connecticut nearer to me. It was dusty but under the dirt -in good condition!....It was not badly rusted with only small rusty patches.I did use some of my notorious Kroyt Kloths in restoration. It works well...though I didn't include a sample as the ribbon was only 50% at the time. I believe it may have received a new platen in the past..not sure when. But thankfully it was stored well. I love the design of these Olivers and expect it to levitate at midnight!
